A super big THANK-YOU to everyone who supported the Bookaneer Book Fair! UPS parents have always supported the Book Fairs, and can you believe that our sales were $4100.60! That is a lot of new books for the library and classrooms!
Wednesday’s Family Fun Night winner was Mayla in Mrs. Pool’s grade 1 class, and Thursday’s winner was Lincoln in Mrs. McKenzie / Miss Koback’s grade 2/3 class. Each of the students won $25 in free books, and their classroom teachers were able to pick $25 worth of new books for their classroom library. There were 1717 goldfish crackers in the jar, and they were won by Khalid, who guessed 1649. Thanks to everyone who showed school spirit and dressed like a pirate to kick off the Book Fair. I also want to say a big thank you to Dahlia and Kristina for volunteering both nights and some recesses. You were both a great help, and I appreciated your assistance greatly. Again, thank you for your continued support and for placing such a high value on reading. Mrs. Schultz-Abel |

We now have the "all-inclusive" AR program, which allows students to take AR quizzes on any book that Renaissance, the program be use, has quizzes for. Many more books in the library will now have the quizzes, plus books you may have a home. If you would like to see if your book has an AR quiz, and the reading level and points, simply click on the link below. Happy reading!
